A very pretty book with an interesting premise. Feels like a very careful social commentary on the way that we lose parts of ourselves as we age and integrate into society. Ultimately though, I feel it falls a bit flat by the end, the novelty begins to wear off and you are more waiting for the book to end, with a sense of relief at its finale.
